Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio has insisted that he is looking to contribute on the pitch this season, despite being restricted to a place on the bench recently.
Marchisio has also been linked with a move away from Turin in the January transfer window, but said that he wants to stay and fight his way back into Antonio Conte's lineup.
"It's normal that my goals increase my chances [for playing time], however, as I have always said my desire is to be here and be available," he told Sky Sport Italia. "My teammates know that I am ready to contribute in training and in matches.
"[Sitting on] the bench is never easy to accept, but everyone wants to make a contribution. Now we must continue to think about the championship, the long road in the second half of the season awaits us.
"If we continue like this, with this will to win, we can claim the Scudetto."
Marchisio came through the club's youth system and has played in the first team since 2006.
