The Lega Serie A has confirmed that the Italian Super Cup between Juventus and Napoli will take place in Doha, Qatar on December 22.
The fixture between the winners of Serie A and the Coppa Italia usually takes place in the summer, but it has been delayed due to both clubs' pre-season commitments.
"We are grateful for the opportunity to be able to export our Super Cup in an interesting and prestigious country like Qatar," Serie A president Maurizio Beretta told reporters.
The Super Cup last took place overseas in 2012, with Juventus beating Napoli in Beijing.
