Gianluigi Buffon "impressed" by Roma

Gianluigi Buffon says that Roma were impressive against Juventus in Turin this evening.

Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has said that he was impressed by Roma in Turin this evening.

The Bianconeri won the contest 3-0 to go eight points clear at the top of Serie A, as the Giallorossi finished the game with nine men following red cards to Daniele de Rossi and Leandro Castan.

"Now we can say that we fully deserve to be top of the table, casting aside any aspersions," the Italian international told Sky Sport Italia.

"To analyse the match honestly, Roma caused us many problems in the first half and we won thanks to the individual incidents, which we made the most of. The Giallorossi are a really good side and showed that tonight.

"It's a very important victory, but Roma really impressed me for an hour tonight, so we cannot afford to let our concentration drop."

The Old Lady take on Cagliari on January 12.
