Mirko Vucinic equalises late to stop Nordsjaelland winning their first ever Champions League match at the expense of the Italian champions.

Juventus needed a late equaliser from substitute Mirko Vucinic to deny Nordsjaelland a famous European victory this evening.

The Danish side scored their first ever Champions League goal early in the second half when Mikkel Beckmann curled a free kick past Gianluigi Buffon.

Juve piled on the pressure but spurned numerous chances to draw level, most notably through Sebastian Giovinco, Artuto Vidal and Alessandro Marti.

Nicklas Bendtner and Vucinic were introduced in the closing stages and the latter finally equalised for the Italian champions with 10 minutes to play.

Vucinic latched onto Mauricio Isla's cross to unleash an unstoppable volley to spare Juve's blushes and maintain their unbeaten start to the season.

Nordsjaelland defended bravely in stoppage time to hold on for their first point in Group E, condemning Juve to a ninth successive draw in European competition.
