Ivory Coast 3-0 Equatorial Guinea

The Ivory Coast reach the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations with a 3-0 win over co-hosts Equatorial Guinea.

The Ivory Coast have made it through to the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations with a 3-0 win over co-hosts Equatorial Guinea.

Didier Drogba had an early volley saved for the Ivory Coast, before Max Gradel flashed his shot narrowly wide.

The Ivory Coast could have taken the lead midway through the first half when Gradel was felled in the area, but Drogba saw his penalty parried away.

The Chelsea striker made amends minutes later when he cut inside before firing a low shot into the net.

He was on the scoresheet again into the second half as he powered an unstoppable header past the keeper from 10 yards.

The win was sealed with 10 minutes to go when Yaya Toure blasted in a free kick.
