Report: Ipswich Town eye striker Jonathan Ayite

Alanyaspor striker Jonathan Ayite is reportedly a summer transfer target of Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy.

Ipswich Town are reportedly among a number of clubs that are keen to sign Alanyaspor striker Jonathan Ayite at the end of the season.

The 29-year-old has been in positive form in Turkey's second tier this term, having scored 13 goals in 22 outings.

However, his contract is due to expire in the summer, when he will become a free agent.

That has alerted Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy, who is eager to bolster his attacking options, according to Canal +.

Reims and Konyaspor are also said to be monitoring Ayite's situation closely.
