Paul Jewell wants new faces

Paul Jewell admits that he is looking to add to his Ipswich Town squad during the ongoing transfer window.

Ipswich Town manager Paul Jewell has admitted that he is looking to add to his squad this month.

However, the 47-year-old has conceded that he is finding it difficult to land his desired targets.

"I think we need to bring players in but whether we can get the players we want is something else," Jewell told reporters.

"There is an awful lot of improving to be done and anyone can see our defensive record isn't great.

"We have, and will be, trying to bring the right players into the club, but whether we can do that I am not 100% sure at the minute. But I am looking to bring new faces in, yes."

The Tractor Boys are currently 19th in the Championship table.
