Ipswich Town sign former Crawley winger Jordan Adekunle on a one-year contract.

Ipswich Town have signed former Crawley Town teenage winger Jordan Adekunle on a one-year contract.

The 17-year-old has been training with the Blues and impressed manager Mick McCarthy enough to be offered a deal.

"I'm delighted to sign for Ipswich," Adekunle told the club's official website.

"It's a great club and I can see the rich history of the place just by walking through the corridors here.

"The manager has given me a chance here, so I want to do well for the club and I'm just buzzing for the new season here really."

After three games of the new Championship season, Ipswich lie 14th with a win and two losses.
