Queens Park Rangers striker DJ Campbell urges the club to make a decision over his future shortly.

DJ Campbell has revealed that he has been offered the opportunity to extend his stay with Ipswich Town.

The 31-year-old Queens Park Rangers striker had been at Portman Road since October when he agreed a three-month loan deal.

However, that agreement has now expired and QPR confirmed last week that he was to return to training with them on Thursday.

Despite admitting that he would be happy to rejoin Ipswich, Campbell has said that the decision will be made by QPR manager Harry Redknapp.

"I don't know what Harry's plans are. He's the one who holds the key, he is the one who says whether I can go or not," he told the East Anglian Daily Times. "I have not spoken to Harry myself, but the gaffer here has offered me a deal and told me what he wants to do – which is great for me.

"I have really enjoyed my time here and the fans have been great, as have the gaffer and the players. If the circumstances are right, I would definitely stay."

Campbell has scored 10 goals from 17 appearances for Ipswich.
