Ipswich Town midfielder Luke Hyam out for at least a month

Ipswich Town reveal that midfielder Luke Hyam could be out for up to six weeks with a knee injury.

Ipswich Town midfielder Luke Hyam has been ruled out for a month with a knee injury.

Blues boss Mick McCarthy today confirmed that Hyam would be out for between four and six weeks, meaning he might not feature again until March.

The 23-year-old Portman Road academy product has scored once in 18 appearances for Ipswich this season.

Hyam's absence is a blow for Ipswich as they prepare to travel to Brighton & Hove Albion, but McCarthy has been boosted by the return of Ted Bishop and Cole Skuse after they recovered from illness.
