Inter Milan play host to Torino on Sunday afternoon with the club slowly improving under the stewardship of Roberto Mancini.
Before Mancini returned to San Siro, the Nerazzurri were struggling in mid-table in Serie A, and while they have only improved to ninth, they are unbeaten in seven games in all competitions.
Five of those games have been played in the league, and although they were held at Empoli last weekend, spirits at the club have improved after moving into contention for a European place.
Mancini would have been further boosted after the Coppa Italia win over Sampdoria in a game which also saw new signing Xherdan Shaqiri net on his full debut to put himself in line for a starting role at the weekend.
Torino travel to Milan sitting in 13th position in the league standings but an undefeated streak of six league games should mean that they have little to fear against their opponents.
Striker Maxi Lopez helped the Granata nick a late win over Cesena last weekend, and that strike could be enough to see him get the nod over Josef Martinez in attack.
Coach Giampiero Ventura may also include defender Salvatore Masiello in place of Matteo Darmian.
