Antonio Cassano: 'I've rejected Juventus three times'

Antonio Cassano has revealed that he rejected Juventus for the third time in his career before deciding to join Inter Milan in the summer.

The striker, who moved to Inter from rivals AC Milan before the start of the season, has claimed that he turned down a move to Juventus because he would have been treated as a soldier by manager Antonio Conte.

Cassano told Italian television programme Che Tempo Che Fa: "I refused three times to go [to Juventus], they just want soldiers, people who only go straight on their tracks.

"Sometimes I have to go to the right, to the left, where I feel like.

"Inter boss Andrea Stramaccioni really wanted me. What does he like about me? I don't know. I just hope he didn't make the biggest mistake of his life!"

Inter welcome Catania to the San Siro on Sunday.
