Half-Time Report: Inter Milan in control against Lazio

Inter Milan come from a goal behind to record a 3-1 half-time lead over Lazio at the San Siro.

Inter Milan lead Lazio 3-1 at half time in Serie A having come from a goal behind early on to take command.

The visitors took the lead within the opening three minutes courtesy of Giuseppe Biava, who was picked out by Lorik Cana before beating Samir Handanovic in the Inter goal.

Lazio's lead did not last long, however, as Mateo Kovacic found Rodrigo Palacio inside the box with the striker shooting into the bottom corner to level the contest on seven minutes.

Mauro Icardi fired Inter ahead when he found the back of the net after being played in by Kovacic, leaving the goalkeeper helpless with his effort to make it 2-1.

Three minutes later the Nerazzurri extended their lead thanks to Palacio, who showed the composure needed to bury the ball past Etrit Berisha to add his second of the night before the interval.
