Claudio Ranieri equals Ronald Koeman's record of managing five clubs in the Champions League.

Claudio Ranieri entered himself into the Champions League record books this evening as Inter Milan kicked off against CSKA Moscow in the Luzhniki Stadium.

The Inter coach has now been in charge of five teams in Europe's top club competition, having already managed Chelsea, Valencia, Juventus and AS Roma to equal the record set by Ronald Koeman.

Dutch coach Ronald Koeman has been at helm of Ajax, Benfica, PSV Eindhoven, Valencia and AZ Alkmaar when they all participated in tournament.

Ranieri was appointed the coach of Inter last week following the sacking of Gian Piero Gasperini.
