Steve Bruce has reportedly put a price tag of £10m on Ahmed Elmohamady as clubs look to lure the right-winger away from recently-relegated Hull City.
According to The Mirror, Everton manager Roberto Martinez and recently-appointed Newcastle United boss Steve McClaren were hoping to snap up the Egyptian for £4m.
Bruce sees Elmohamady as an integral part of Hull's bid to bounce back into the Premier League and will offer him a new contract once the player returns for pre-season training.
Elmohamady, 27, joined the Yorkshire team from Sunderland in 2013 for £2m.
