Newcastle United are planning to sign Manchester United winger Jesse Lingard this summer, according to reports.
The 22-year-old played under new Magpies boss Steve McClaren at Derby County last season and scored two goals in 14 appearances.
McClaren was impressed with the youngster and wants to sign him on a season-long loan in this window, claims The Telegraph.
United boss Louis van Gaal is said to be a fan of the ex-Birmingham City loanee, but wants him to gain more experience.
Lingard has also had loan spells at Leicester City and Brighton & Hove Albion.
