Hull City target Queens Park Rangers' Adel Taarabt?

Hull City join the race to sign unsettled Queens Park Rangers midfielder Adel Taarabt.

Hull City manager Steve Bruce has reportedly decided to launch a surprise summer swoop for Queens Park Rangers playmaker Adel Taarabt.

The Moroccan midfielder is surplus to requirements at Loftus Road and was sent home from pre-season training in Devon last week.

Bruce is willing to consider a season-long loan deal or a permanent move for the 24-year-old and will make a formal bid this week, according to The Sun.

Marseille have also been linked with a loan move for Taarabt, who has admitted that he is keen on a switch to southern France.

Taarabt has two years left on his current QPR contract, with a salary believed to be in the region of £50,000 a week.
