Preview: Hull City vs. Peterborough United

Hull City can dampen Peterborough United's season even more if they grab three points from Darren Ferguson's side this weekend.

Hull City will try to edge nearer to the top two spots in the Championship table when they face struggling Peterborough United on Saturday.

The Tigers are determined to bounce back from their 3-1 defeat to Leicester City last week, while Darren Ferguson's team are desperate to get off the mark after failing to secure a point from their first seven matches.

Jay Simpson is expected to lead the line for the home side, while Stephen Quinn and Ahmed Elmohamady should be chosen to provide service to the frontman.

Meanwhile, the Posh will be pinning their hopes on Tyrone Barnett and Lee Tomlin to find the back of the net tomorrow as they search for their first win of the season.

Recent form:

Hull: LWWWL
Peterborough: LLLLL

Possible lineups:

Hull: Amos; Chester, Dudgeon, Bruce, Evans; Koren, Faye, Aluko, Elmohamady, Quinn; Simpson

Peterborough: Olejnik; Zakuani, Little, Ntlhe, Bostwick; McCann, Newell, Knight-Percival, Mendez-Laing; Tomlin, Barnett

Sports Mole says: 1-0
