Tom Huddlestone: 'Hull City must keep Charlie Austin quiet'

Hull City midfielder Tom Huddlestone believes that keeping Charlie Austin quiet could be the key to picking up another three-point haul against Queens Park Rangers.

Tom Huddlestone has admitted that Hull City will have to pay special attention to Charlie Austin in Saturday afternoon's meeting with Queens Park Rangers.

The England hopeful has carried his form of last season into this one by finding the net five times already for the Hoops.

While Huddlestone is hopeful that City can pick up back-to-back league wins for the first time this term, he acknowledges that shackling his countryman at the KC Stadium will be a tough task.

"QPR have done well after coming down and they've managed to keep Charlie Austin, which was probably their best bit of business over the summer," he told the club's official website. "So we'll have to look to keep him quiet, but if we can implement our own style we know we've done well at home so far and we want to keep that up.

"They're always close games and as we know, anyone can beat anyone in the Championship. We'll be looking to take Tuesday night's performance against Cardiff into this game and hopefully produce the same result.

"We're focussed on trying to stay at the top end of this league and getting three points away from home in midweek was a big bonus for us. We've had a good start at home where we've created chances and put a few away, so hopefully we can continue with that."

Hull head into the game sitting two points above their opponents in the league table.
