David Wagner 'excited to face Chelsea'

Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner says that his team are "very excited" to face "the biggest team in England" as they prepare to host Chelsea.

Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner has revealed that his team are "very excited" to face "the biggest team in England" as they prepare to welcome Chelsea to the King Power Stadium.

Huddersfield will enter Tuesday night's match off the back of a 2-0 home win over Brighton & Hove Albion, while Chelsea will be looking to bounce back from a 1-0 defeat at West Ham United.

Wagner has insisted that his team will 'work their socks off' in a bid to pick up a positive result on home soil.

"Chelsea is the biggest team in England because they won the title last season; they're a top team, we are happy to host them and we are very excited to face them," Wagner told reporters.

"We are not dreamers, we are workers; this counts tomorrow. We will not dream, we will work our socks off. Playing the match at the John Smith's Stadium gives our players that extra little bit of trust and belief in their quality because the supporters are behind them."

Huddersfield attacker Tom Ince, meanwhile, claimed ahead of the match that Chelsea will not be looking forward to this week's game.
