Strong second half sees Hertha Berlin beat Mainz 05

Sami Allagui scores twice as Hertha Berlin come from behind to beat Mainz.

Hertha Berlin have come from behind to beat Mainz 05 in the Bundesliga with all their goals coming in the second half.

It did not take long for the opening goal and it went to the visitors, who had started very strongly. Nicolai Muller put the final touch to a fine Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting cross.

Hertha came straight back into the game and Ronny came close with a powerful free kick before Choupo-Moting tested Thomas Kraft from outside the box.

In the second half, Hertha came out flying and Sami Allagui pulled it level from Adrian Ramos's cross.

In the 73rd minute the comeback was complete and it was Allagui again, this time rifling high across the keeper into the top corner.

A minute later the points were secure as Anis Ben-Hatira finished low from the box from a break as Mainz came forward.
