Hereford United have announced the appointment of new manager Martin Foyle.
The Bulls, who were relegated from League Two at the end of the season, have begun the process of rejuvenating the club by acquiring the managerial services of the 49-year-old former Port Vale coach.
Club chairman David Keyte told the club's official website: "We had been strongly advised by many people to appoint a manager who has Conference experience. Martin certainly has a wealth of experience as player, coach, assistant manager and most importantly as manager.
"We'll be looking for him to draw on his experience and his contacts within the game to assemble a squad capable of challenging for promotion."
Foyle became the standout candidate following interviews with 40 prospective managers.
