Augsburg steal all three points

Augsburg produce an efficient performance to beat Hamburger SV 1-0 away from home.

Augsburg have taken all three points away from Hamburger SV with a 1-0 win courtesy of a first-half Raul Bobadilla goal.

They came out of the blocks surprisingly quickly, with both Kevin Vogt and Andre Hahn having efforts well blocked early on.

Then Tolgay Arslan tested his luck from distance, but his 10th-minute strike did not have enough power to beat Marvin Hitz.

It did not take Bobadilla long to justify his start, as he was set up by Tobias Werner to finish low.

Neither defence was giving much away and the frustrations were summed up by Matthias Ostrzolek's wayward effort from 35 yards.

The visitors continued to dominate through the second half, but despite Vogt coming close with a shot from the edge of the box, they were unable to get a second that would have made it comfortable.
