Bragantino travel to Porto Alegre to face Gremio at the Estadio Couto Pereira for a Brasileiro battle on Saturday.

While the hosts are bidding to win two games in the space of just four days, the visitors are looking to extend their unbeaten run to four matches.

We say: Gremio 1-0 Bragantino

Gremio have made themselves difficult to break down in recent weeks, conceding just once in their last six games, while Bragantino have only found the net more than once in two of their last 11 matches, so a tight contest could be in store on Saturday. The momentum is with the hosts following their comfortable midweek win, and they may just find a way to come out on top this weekend.

Vitoria vs. Atletico GO (Saturday, 8.00pm)

Two newly-promoted teams still searching for their first win back in the Brasileiro face off on Saturday as Vitoria play host to Atletico Goianiense at Estadio Manoel Barradas.

Both clubs are preparing for their first league fixture in nearly three weeks following the devastating floods that hit the Rio Grande do Sul region of Brazil.

We say: Vitoria 1-2 Atletico Goianiense

Both sides have made a slow start to the new season and will view Saturday's fixture as a good opportunity to get their first three points on the board.

Vitoria may boast the home advantage, but their defensive frailties could prove costly once against an Atletico Goianiense side who have scored in 13 of their last 14 away matches.

Two Brasileiro teams who have failed to hit the ground running in the 2024 campaign do battle at the Maracana on Saturday when Fluminense play host to Juventude.

While the hosts are seeking to avoid going four league games without a win, the visitors have only come out on top in one of their last six matches across all competitions.

We say: Fluminense 2-1 Juventude

A competitive and closely-fought contest could be in store on Saturday between two teams keen to return to winning ways in the top flight, but considering Fluminense have been strong on home soil and boast the match sharpness Juventude will lack having not played in over a month, we believe the hosts will find a way to come out on top.

Brasileiro basement club Cuiaba will be looking to get their first points on the board when they welcome Internacional to Arena Pantanal on Saturday.

Both clubs are preparing for their first league fixture in over three weeks following the catastrophic floods that hit the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul.

We say: Cuiaba 1-2 Internacional

The fact that Internacional have conceded in five of their last six games should provide Cuiaba with confidence of scoring their first league goal this season, but they still head into Saturday's contest as underdogs and may struggle to outscore their opponents on this occasion.

Corinthians vs. Botafogo (Sunday, 1.00am)

After a two-week break due to the floods, Brasileiro action resumes this week with Corinthians and Botafogo set to do battle at Neo Quimica Arena on June 2.

These two have made contrasting starts to the season, with the hosts entering the contest down in 16th place in the league standings while the visitors are fourth.

We say: Corinthians 1-1 Botafogo

While Corinthians are yet to find consistency in the league this season, their home record is among the best in the division, and they have not lost a league match to this opponent at Neo Quimica Arena in their last nine encounters at the venue.

However, Botafogo are looking very good this term under new head coach Artur Jorge, and we feel they will be able to take at least a share of the spoils from this one.
