Levante 0-2 Getafe

A goal in either half from Daniel Guiza and Diego Castro helped Getafe claim all three points from their trip to Levante this afternoon.

After an even opening few moments, the visitors broke the deadlock in the 32nd minute through Spanish international Guiza, who scored from close range.

Levante spurned chances to equalise after the restart, with Arouna Kone in particular wasteful in front of goal.

The victory was sealed for Getafe eight minutes from time when Castro beat the offside trap before slotting the ball into the bottom corner of the net.
