Joachim Low: 'Germany fear no-one'

Germany manager Joachim Low claims that his side have no fear ahead of tomorrow's World Cup final, having put years of preparation in to reaching this stage.

Germany manager Joachim Low has insisted that his side fears no-one ahead of tomorrow's World Cup final against Argentina.

Low's side will go into the match full of confidence having thrashed hosts Brazil 7-1 in the semi-finals, and they could become the first European nation to win the World Cup on South American soil should they triumph at the Maracana.

Lionel Messi and co stand in the way of them achieving that feat, but Low is confident that his side can overcome Argentina having put years of preparation into reaching this stage.

"We don't have any fear whatsoever," Low told reporters.

"Over the last few years we've travelled and watched international football, in Europe and South America, and we've tried to learn little things that can influence matches.

"We've taken on the new-fangled things that are being done. We have looked at Spain and we've looked across the border at what the Dutch are doing - how they train individual players."

Germany will be looking to win their first World Cup crown since defeating Argentina in the 1990 final.
