Joachim Lowe reveals that he has made plans to stop Zlatan Ibrahimovic from hurting Germany when they take on Sweden on Tuesday.

Joachim Loew has admitted that Germany must find a way to stop Zlatan Ibrahimovic as they prepare to face Sweden in a crucial World Cup qualifier.

Germany are full of confidence after swatting aside the Republic of Ireland by a resounding 6-1 scoreline on Friday but Loew has insisted that the Swedes will provide tougher opposition.

Sweden needed a second-half winner from talisman Ibrahimovic to avoid dropping points against the Faroe Islands last weekend.

Loew told reporters at the pre-match press conference that his defensive strategy focuses around starving the Paris Saint-Germain striker of the ball.

He said: "Ibrahimovic is a dangerous player who can decide games on his own and can often find the solution in very difficult situations.

"It will be important that we disturb Ibrahimovic early when receiving a pass and don't give him much space.

"He may be totally unpredictable, but he has individual class and can often find solutions to very difficult situations."

Germany have a 100% record after three qualifying matches and lead Sweden by three points ahead of Tuesday's encounter.
