Genoa complete double swoop

Genoa sign Croatian defender Sime Vrsaljko and Senegalese striker Moussa Konate.

Serie A side Genoa have completed the signings of Sime Vrsaljko and Moussa Konate.

Davide Ballardini has already been active this summer, bringing in Sebastien de Maio, Panagiotis Tachtsidis, Giovanni Marchese, Marco Cane and Isaac Cofie.

The Grifone boss has now added Croatian defender Vrsaljko from Dinamo Zagreb for an undisclosed fee, while Konate arrives at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on a season-long loan from Krasnodar.

However, Genoa have the option of making the Senegalese striker's move permanent should he prove to be a success in Italy.

Both players are full internationals with their respective countries.
