Report: Fulham make Tom Cairney approach

Blackburn Rovers midfielder Tom Cairney is reportedly a transfer target of fellow Championship side Fulham.

Fulham manager Kit Symons has reportedly made a move to sign Blackburn Rovers midfielder Tom Cairney.

The 24-year-old, who arrived at Ewood Park from Hull City in 2013, still has two years left to run on his Blackburn contract.

However, that has not put off Symons, who is eager to bolster his midfield options this summer, according to the Lancashire Evening Telegraph.

The report adds that although Rovers would be reluctant to lose Cairney, every player at the club has a price.

Cairney has scored nine goals from his 85 appearances for the Lancashire outfit.
