Fulham youngster Dan Burn open to Yeovil Town return

Fulham defender Dan Burn says that he would be keen to return to Yeovil Town if he is not part of the senior team at Craven Cottage.

Dan Burn has revealed that he would be keen to rejoin Yeovil Town on a loan basis if he cannot become part of the Fulham senior side.

The 21-year-old is yet to feature for the Whites since his arrival from Darlington in 2011 and spent the majority of the last campaign with the Glovers, who gained promotion to the Championship via the League One playoffs.

The defender has conceded that he would like to force his way into Martin Jol's plans, but if that is not possible, a return to Huish Park is something that he would give strong consideration to.

"I want to play for Fulham. I didn't sign there just to sit in the Under-21s. I've been out on loan and felt I've done myself justice," Burn is quoted as saying by the Fulham Chronicle. "I'll speak to Fulham and go back in pre-season and see what they have planned.

"If I'm not going to play I would rather go out and get some games. I loved my time at Yeovil and feel part of the club. If I get a chance to come back I couldn't turn it down."

Burn made 41 appearances during his stint with Yeovil.
