Fulham close in on Michael Madl

Strum Graz reveal that their defender Michael Madl is on the verge of signing for Championship side Fulham.

Strum Graz have confirmed that they have agreed to sell Michael Madl to Fulham.

The defender, who was capped by Austria at Under-21 level, has been granted permission to travel to London for a medical and discussions over personal terms with the Championship outfit.

"Michael Madl left the training camp of Sturm Graz in Belek. He travels to London for medical checks with Fulham FC," read a statement on Graz's official website.

The 27-year-old joined Graz in 2012 from SC Wiener Neustadt and he has since made over 100 appearances for the Austrian club.
