Two goals from Dimitar Berbatov on his full debut give Fulham a comfortable half-time lead over 10-man West Bromwich Albion at Craven Cottage.

A Dimitar Berbatov double has given Fulham a comfortable half-time lead over 10-man West Bromwich Albion at Craven Cottage.

The 31-year-old Bulgarian, who is making his full debut for the hosts, opened the scoring on 32 minutes with a cultured finish from just inside the area.

Six minutes later, Peter Odemwingie was shown a straight red card for kicking out at Sascha Riether.

Berbatov doubled his side's advantage from the penalty spot in stoppage time.
