Wednesday's Brasileiro predictions including Flamengo vs. Corinthians

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Wednesday's Brasileiro matches, including Flamengo vs. Corinthians.

Santos vs. Chapecoense (Wednesday, 10.00pm)

Santos can increase their odds of staying in the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A and add more misery to the last-place team when they welcome Chapecoense to Estadio Urbano Caldeira on Wednesday.

Peixe moved up to 12th over the weekend, despite a 0-0 draw with Atletico Goianiense, while Chape lost their first game in November, 2-0 to Juventude.

We say: Santos 1-0 Chapecoense

This will likely not be a very entertaining match as neither have a lot of strong technical skills, which explains why they are both near the bottom of the table, but Santos are better at maintaining a solid defensive shape, whereas Chape always give you a chance with an error or two in each game.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

America Mineiro vs. Atletico GO (Wednesday, 10.00pm)

Two sides in opposite runs of form will do battle on Wednesday, as America Mineiro welcome Atletico Goianiense.

The hosts have climbed to ninth spot in the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A table thanks to four wins from their last five outings, while their visitors now sit just two points above the drop zone after a major dip in form.

We say: America Mineiro 2-1 Atletico Goianiense

Given the form of the two sides, we can only see the hosts picking up another victory on Wednesday.

The Coelho have picked up steam in recent months, while their visitors are devoid of any confidence.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Cuiaba vs. Internacional (Wednesday, 10.00pm)

A spot in the 2022 Copa Libertadores qualifying round is within reach for Internacional, who can capture consecutive victories in the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A for the first time since early October when they travel to Arena Pantanal to face Cuiaba on Wednesday.

The league runners-up in 2020 came back to beat Athletico Paranaense 2-1 on Saturday, as Colorado are now four points back of a place in that competition next year, chasing Corinthians, who beat Cuiaba 3-2 this past weekend.

We say: Cuiaba 1-1 Internacional

Cuiaba will be much more in their element on Wednesday playing in their own backyard, having lost only once there since September.

The Colorado attack is a lot stronger than Cuiaba, but Dourado have shown a lot of poise and discipline, as they always seem to be in the right place at the right time at home.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Fortaleza vs. Ceara (Wednesday, 11.00pm)

Local rivals Fortaleza and Ceara will square off in Brazilian top-flight action at the Castelao on Thursday.

A run of four league games without a victory has seen the hosts drop to sixth spot in the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A table, while their visitors have climbed to 10th place after an upturn in form.

We say: Fortaleza 1-1 Ceara

Given the hostility between these two sides, we expect a relatively cagey affair on Thursday, without either clearly taking control.

Despite the visitors displaying far superior form, their rivals will be desperate not to hand them a victory on home soil, and we instead see the game ending level.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Palmeiras vs. Sao Paulo (Wednesday, 11.30pm)

One of the most intense rivalries in Brazilian football will be renewed on Wednesday when Sao Paulo make the short trip from Morumbi to Perdizes to face Palmeiras from Allianz Parque in the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A.

Palestra dropped to third as they let a one-goal lead slip away, losing 2-1 to Fluminense, while Tricolor Paulista are only two points above the relegation line following a 4-0 defeat at home to Flamengo.

We say: Palmeiras 2-0 Sao Paulo

Palmeiras are playing their arch-rivals at a particularly vulnerable time for Sao Paulo, who were not feeling very confident heading into last weekend and could be even more shaken after getting thumped by Flamengo.

Despite losing for the first time since early October, Palestra are still a side who should be feeling pretty confident about themselves, especially at home where they have won three straight games.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Juventude vs. Fluminense (Wednesday, 11.30pm)

After each coming away with a victory this weekend, Juventude and Fluminense have a lot to play for when they face each other on Wednesday from Estadio Alfredo Jaconi in the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A.

Juve are tied with Bahia on 36 points but are in the final relegation position due to having one fewer win, while Flu are only four points back of an automatic berth in the 2022 Copa Libertadores after upsetting Palmeiras 2-1 on Sunday.

We say: Juventude 1-1 Fluminense

These teams are desperately hoping to move up the table for different reasons, and even though the sense of urgency should be greater for Juve, looking to stave off relegation, Flu are unbeaten in their last three visits to Juventude.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Flamengo vs. Corinthians (Thursday, 12.30am)

Flamengo will look to stretch their unbeaten run to seven league games on Thursday, when they welcome Corinthians to the Maracana.

An eye-catching run of form in recent months has seen the Rubro-Negro climb to second spot in the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A table, while their hosts sit in fifth after an impressive run of their own.

We say: Flamengo 2-1 Corinthians

Despite Corinthians finding a winning streak of their own, we simply cannot look past Flamengo in any game they play in at the minute.

The hosts are playing at the peak of their powers, and they know their is no room for error if they are to keep their slim title hopes alive.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
