Fiorentina's Adem Ljajic contract talks ongoing

Fiorentina and Adem Ljajic are in discussions over a renewal of the winger's contract, according to sporting director Daniele Prade.

Prade said that there has been an offer put on the table and that it is up to the player to decide whether it is acceptable.

"We are trying to extend the Ljajic's contract but it depends on the player and his will," Sky Sports News quotes Prade as saying.

"There will be an important meeting between his agent and our president, but our club wants only motivated people who are willing to stay at Fiorentina.

"We have to evaluate this situation day by day."

Ljajic signed for Fiorentina from Partizan Belgrade in 2010.
