Sunday's Serie A predictions including Torino vs. AC Milan

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Torino vs. AC Milan.

Empoli vs. Atalanta (Sunday, 11.30am)

Having finally lost their unbeaten record last week, Atalanta BC aim to bounce back straight away, as they visit Empoli at Stadio Carlo Castellani on Sunday.

La Dea slipped to fourth in the Serie A standings after a 2-0 home loss to Lazio, but have won four and drawn one of their away fixtures so far. Meanwhile, their hosts occupy a slot in mid-table despite a heavy defeat last time out.

We say: Empoli 1-1 Atalanta BC

An aberration against Juve aside, Empoli have proved a tough nut to crack for many teams this term, having drawn five times so far. With home advantage, too, the Azzurri can hold Atalanta at bay for long spells and should grind out another valuable point.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Cremonese vs. Udinese (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Cremonese are still searching for their first league win of the season ahead of hosting Udinese in Serie A on Sunday.

The visitors, meanwhile, have failed to win each of their last three games having previously enjoyed an excellent start to the season.

We say: Cremonese 0-2 Udinese

We expect Udinese to return to winning ways against Cremonese, who appear to be somewhat out of their depth at this level.

The visitors may have punched above their weight during the early weeks of the campaign with their recent dip in form almost inevitable to have occurred at some stage, but they should have enough quality to beat their struggling opposition.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Spezia vs. Fiorentina (Sunday, 2.00pm)

With just one point apiece in Serie A this month, both Spezia and Fiorentina aim to end October on a more positive note by claiming victory at Stadio Alberto Picco on Sunday.

While the Viola bounced straight back from their controversial late loss to Inter last weekend - posting a European win in midweek - their hosts continue to slide down the standings after four defeats in six league games.

We say: Spezia 2-2 Fiorentina

Both teams feature in the top three for goals conceded during the opening 15 minutes of Serie A matches, so a fast start could be on the cards. As either side has defensive frailties, a share of the spoils might be the likeliest result - particularly given Spezia's strength on home soil.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Lazio vs. Salernitana (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Five wins from six in Serie A has seen Lazio rise through the ranks and into the top three, and they aim to keep such form going on Sunday, when Salernitana arrive at Stadio Olimpico.

With a midweek success, too, the Biancocelesti are close to sealing a place in the Europa League knockout stages, while their visitors occupy a mid-table slot in the standings after last week's win over Spezia.

We say: Lazio 2-0 Salernitana

As Salernitana have scored just three times away from home so far, their trip to the capital is surely doomed to end in failure. Lazio are watertight at the back and can be clinical up front, so even allowing for a drop in levels ahead of next week's events they should get the job done.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Torino vs. AC Milan (Sunday, 7.45pm)

On a run of four straight Serie A wins, and now in pole position to progress in the Champions League, AC Milan aim to continue such positive momentum on Sunday, when they visit mid-table Torino.

The Rossoneri followed up their 4-1 win over neighbouring Monza with a thumping midweek victory in Zagreb, to sit second in both Group E and the Italian top flight. Meanwhile, their hosts have bounced back from Derby della Mole defeat by posting wins in both league and cup.

We say: Torino 1-2 AC Milan

Torino can finally end their scoring drought against Milan, but that may not prove enough to avoid defeat on Sunday evening. Even with a number of injuries still diminishing his options, Stefano Pioli has slowly built a Milan squad that features enough quality on the bench to make the difference when required.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
