Thursday's Eredivisie predictions including Ajax vs. Go Ahead Eagles

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Eredivisie fixtures, including Ajax vs. Go Ahead Eagles.

Volendam vs. Feyenoord (Thursday, 5.45pm)

In-form Feyenoord travel to the Kras Stadion to face lowly FC Volendam in the Eredivisie on Thursday.

The visitors will look to claim a routine victory after being handed a small glimmer of hope of reviving a title race following PSV Eindhoven's defeat at the weekend.

We say: FC Volendam 0-4 Feyenoord

Volendam should provide little trouble for Feyenoord given their current plight, and the fact the visitors have won all three meetings since they were promoted in 2022.

The hosts are much weaker at home too, with eight straight defeats here at the Kras Stadion and 18 goals conceded in their last four, so an ugly scoreline could be on the way once more for the relegation favourites, with Feyenoord also very strong on the road.

RKC Waalwijk vs. Almere City (Thursday, 7.00pm)

Aiming to move further clear of the bottom three in the Eredivisie table, RKC Waalwijk will welcome Almere City to the Mandemakers Stadion on Thursday.

The hosts have moved a single point above the drop zone thanks to a positive run of results in recent weeks, while their visitors sit 12th in the midst of a winless run but remain eight points better off.

We say: RKC Waalwijk 1-1 Almere City

With both teams in the midst of runs of draws, and the visitors travelling in an improved streak with the aim of leaving with a result against higher opposition, we envisage a share of the points as the most likely outcome in Thursday's contest.

Ajax vs. Go Ahead Eagles (Thursday, 8.00pm)

Ajax play host to Go Ahead Eagles on Thursday evening looking for the victory that will keep them in the hunt for fourth position in the Eredivisie standings.

However, the visitors make the trip to Amsterdam with the opportunity to move to within one point of their hosts with a win.

We say: Ajax 2-1 Go Ahead Eagles

With both clubs getting back to form at the weekend, this could prove to be an entertaining and competitive tussle. However, we feel that Ajax may just edge this contest, aware of the necessity of getting over the line in what feels like one of their most notable remaining matches.
