Report: Everton make Ryan Shawcross bid

Everton make a bid for Stoke City defender Ryan Shawcross, according to a report.

Everton have reportedly made an offer for Stoke City captain Ryan Shawcross.

The Toffees are believed to be in the market for a new defender after conceding six goals during their defeat against Chelsea at the weekend.

According to Goal.com, Everton have placed a bid for Shawcross, who is also thought to be attracting interest from clubs across Europe.

Shawcross has spent the past seven seasons at Stoke after joining the club from Manchester United.
