Middlesbrough are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign Yannick Bolasie on loan from Everton for the 2018-19 campaign.
Bolasie is understood to be deemed surplus to requirements under new Toffees boss Marco Silva, with the likes of Burnley, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa previously linked with the winger.
The 29-year-old was rumoured to have rejected a switch to Villa as he was unwilling to drop down to the Championship, but Teesside Live reports that he is now nearing a switch to join Boro.
Bolasie is thought to be at the club's Rockliffe training complex discussing the possibility of a season-long loan move, although personal terms are yet to be agreed.
The Democratic Republic of Congo international joined Everton for £25m two years ago, but has been limited to just 32 appearances across all competitions due to injury.
