Phil Jagielka reveals that he hopes to end his career at Everton following a new deal with the club.

Everton defender Phil Jagielka has revealed that he hopes to end his career at the club.

The 30-year-old recently extended his stay at Goodison Park until 2017 by penning a new deal.

When asked if he would like to finish his playing days with the Toffees, Jagielka told the club's official website: "I hope I do.

"I love being here and the club have obviously not minded extending my deal for another two years so I'm looking forward to the future."

The England international joined Everton from Sheffield United in 2007.
