Everton confirm that midfielder Leon Osman has committed his future to the club with a new contract running until 2015.

Everton have confirmed that midfielder Leon Osman has signed a contract extension at the club.

Reports earlier this week revealed that the 32-year-old had agreed new terms, which the Merseyside outfit have confirmed today with the announcement of a deal lasting until 2015.

Osman has insisted that he is determined to help the Toffees progress, despite currently being without a manager following David Moyes's departure to Manchester United.

"I am delighted to have put my signature on another contract and secured another year at the club," Osman told the club's official website.

"I have been here since I left school, I am a player and a fan, I love coming to work every day and I am delighted that's going to continue.

"We are not quite sure what's going to happen with a manager but I am still delighted to have secured my future here at the club. It's time to take the family on holiday now, enjoy it and recharge the batteries for next season."

Osman had 12 months remaining on his previous contract.
