Blackburn Rovers not tracking Everton striker Chris Long?

Everton striker Chris Long is not a loan target of Championship side Blackburn Rovers, according to a report.

Blackburn Rovers have reportedly not made a loan approach for Everton striker Chris Long.

Recent speculation had suggested that Rovers boss Gary Bowyer was keen to take the 20-year-old to Ewood Park for the upcoming 2015-16 Championship campaign.

However, although Bowyer has run the rule over a number of potential attacking additions, Long was not one of them, according to the Lancashire Evening Telegraph.

Long had a loan spell with Brentford last term, during which he found the net against Rovers.
