Crystal Palace are without Wilfried Zaha as they travel to Everton this afternoon.

Crystal Palace are without Wilfried Zaha as they travel to Everton this afternoon.

The 25-year-old begins a predicted month on the sidelines after picking up a knee injury in the 1-1 stalemate with Newcastle United last Sunday, contributing to one of two changes from that match.

Alexander Sorloth benefits from Zaha's absence as he is handed his debut after his deadline-day switch from FC Midtjylland, while Joel Ward comes in for injured defender Martin Kelly.

Sam Allardyce, meanwhile, makes four changes to the Everton side that fell to a 5-1 defeat at the hands of Arsenal last time out, reverting to a back four in the process.

Seamus Coleman, Tom Davies, Wayne Rooney and Gylfi Sigurdsson are recalled to the starting XI, while Jonjoe Kenny, Ashley Williams, Morgan Schneiderlin and Yannick Bolasie are demoted to the bench.

Everton: Pickford; Martina, Coleman, Keane, Mangala; Gueye, Davies, Rooney; Walcott, Sigurdsson, Niasse
Subs: Robles, Kenny, Schneiderlin, Williams, Bolasie, Tosun, Calvert-Lewin

Crystal Palace: Hennessey; Ward, Van Aanholt, Fosu-Mensah, Tomkins; Milivojevic, McArthur, Cabaye, Townsend; Sorloth, Benteke
Subs: Henry, Riedewald, Chung-yong, Souare, Delaney, Wan-Bissaka, Rakip
