David Moyes is happy that his side scored late goals to record a victory over Wigan Athletic.

Everton manager David Moyes was relieved that his side managed to record victory over Wigan Athletic this afternoon.

At one goal apiece, it looked as though the match would be heading for a draw until Apostolos Vellios and Royston Drenthe scored late goals to seal the points.

"We played well and thankfully we got the goals in the end," Moyes told Sky Sports News.

"Wigan made it very difficult for us but we got the three points and they're more than welcome."

The Toffees are unbeaten in their last three Premier League matches.
