Everton manager Roberto Martinez believes that midfielder Ross Barkley should be in the England squad.
The 20-year-old, who has won three international caps, was an unused substitute for England's friendly win over Denmark at Wembley two weeks ago.
Martinez has claimed that Barkley would add a different dimension to Roy Hodgson's side.
"I always feel that Ross brings something so different to the England camp because of the uniqueness of his talent," the Everton boss told Sky Sports News.
"If you ask me about him being a young player and he has only been in the Premier League for a short time, that would never concern me.
"He can play the occasion and is ready to play at the highest level. Is he ready to give something back to the England squad? The answer is yes."
Barkley has scored four goals in 29 appearances for the Toffees this season.
