Tony Hibbert backs Everton to improve

Tony Hibbert believes that Everton will rediscover their best form following the international break.

Everton defender Tony Hibbert is confident that Everton's form will pick up after the international break.

The Toffees have made a slow start to the Premier League season, with one win from their opening seven fixtures leaving them one place above the relegation zone.

Hibbert has insisted that there is no need for Roberto Martinez's side to panic yet.

"Football is funny. It's hard to figure out why it hasn't worked for us," he told Sky Sports News. "We haven't started the way we wanted to, but it will come. We'll click again.

"The games will come thick and fast again after the international break and we just need to get our confidence back and get going again. We just need a win. We're not playing badly.

"We need to believe in ourselves more because we've still got the players we had last season. It's only a matter of time. Hopefully after next weekend we'll have some of the injured men back and then we'll kick on."

Everton lost 2-1 to Manchester United in their last outing on Sunday.
