Everton have joined the race to sign former Rangers winger Gregg Wylde.

The Scotland Under-21s star voluntarily left the Gers without a redundancy package last week to help ease the club's financial crisis.

Blues boss David Moyes has contacted the 20-year-old midfielder in a bid to bring him to Goodison Park, The Mirror reports.

Wylde has attracted the attention of other clubs since his departure from Rangers, with Aston Villa and Bolton also being linked with the player.
