Kiko Casilla, Victor Sanchez to receive new Espanyol deals

Espanyol want to extend the contracts of goalkeeper Kiko Casilla and midfielder Victor Sanchez.

Espanyol president Joan Collet has revealed that contract talks with goalkeeper Kiko Casilla and midfielder Victor Sanchez are underway.

Both players have been key members of the first XI in the new campaign, but see their current deals expire at the end of next season.

"We've already started talking and I'm optimistic. Both are very active players at the club and we want to increase their contracts," Collet told reporters at a press conference.

Casilla has been previously linked with a move to the former club Real Madrid, while Sanchez's performances this season have also reportedly gained admiring glances from across Europe.
