Jesse Lingard has branded Gareth Southgate's introduction as England manager "like a new revolution" as the Three Lions gear up for their 2018 World Cup last-16 clash with Colombia.
England lost 1-0 to Belgium on Thursday to finish their Group G campaign in second position, and they will take on Colombia on Tuesday night for a spot in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
Lingard has said that "the team spirit is amazing", with the Manchester United attacker paying tribute to Southgate's work since arriving as head coach.
"It feels like a new revolution. The manager's come in with great ideas, the formation suits us perfectly. It's a youthful squad but we've still got those experienced players in there. The team spirit is amazing," Lingard told reporters.
England scored eight times and conceded three in their three group matches in Russia.
