England vs. Italy kickoff time moved forward three hours

The kickoff time of England's World Cup opener against Italy in Manaus is brought forward by three hours to 11pm local time.

The kickoff time of England's opening Group D game at next year's World Cup against Italy in Manaus has been moved forward three hours to 6pm local time.

The decision means that the match will be played at 11pm UK time on Saturday, June 14 instead of the original time of 2am on the morning of Sunday, June 15.

England were drawn in Group D alongside Italy, Uruguay and Costa Rica in yesterday's group-stage draw for the 2014 World Cup, with the Three Lions manager Roy Hodgson describing the group as "tough".

The kickoff times of seven matches have been adjusted following the draw, including Spain's clash with Chile on June 18 and USA's game against Portugal on June 22.
