Manchester United winger Ashley Young believes that Stuart Pearce "did well" in his first match as England interim coach, despite suffering defeat at Wembley.
The Three Lions Under-21s coach took charge of the senior squad for the first time since being appointed temporary manager, but failed to clinch a win as England lost 3-2 to the Netherlands.
"We don't know who's going to be the manager but Stuart Pearce was manager for this game and I think he did well," BBC Sport quotes Young as saying.
Pearce revealed after the game that he is not interested in taking the England role on a long-term basis.
